6000 inzenders (waaronder 800 buitenlandse) van een Top 10 gaven als resultaat een fantastische Top 200, met recht een lijst om trots op te zijn.
Net als bij Classic Rock Top 100 of the Sixties zien we opmerkelijke verschillen met lijsten als die van Arrow, City FM
en de Top 2000 onder het motto: Terug naar de basis.
Veel inzenders gaven gehoor aan de oproep (die we overal horen) eens niet op altijd dezelfde klassiekers te stemmen.
Geen Hotel California (nog wel op 26), Stairway to heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody of Child in time in de top 10 derhalve. Begin van een trend?
Wel in de top plaats voor echte authentieke classic-rocksongs, ook wel car-classics genoemd. Kortom een lijst om van te smullen uit een tijdperk waarin de meeste
classic-rocksongs zijn gemaakt.
Radar love is een waardige nr 1 en dat van eigen bodem!
Aardige onverwachte toppers zijn bv. Derek & the Dominoes op 10, Frijid Pink op 12, Blue Oyster Cult op 13, Beatles op 20 (Across the universe),
Patti Smith, Hollies op 84, Fields op 96. De hoge notering van Sweet home Alabama heeft vast te maken met de zomerhit van 2008 van Kidrock.

scoorden goed, de eerste van 5x Queen (Love of my life!) zien we pas op 27.
