Bezoekers van Hitsallertijden hebben een Top 100 van Classic Rock-nummers uit de jaren 60 samengesteld. 
Een overstelpend aantal inzendingen (ca. 5000) zorgden voor een schitterende lijst vol authentieke klassiekers van de jaren 60.
Veel bekende nummers komen bovendrijven, maar de nummer 1 van Steppenwolf is een daverende verrassing. 
De nadruk ligt vooral op de stevige nummers, maar dat hoort ook bij Classic Rock. Wat 'softere' nummers als House of the rising sun, Hey Jude en 
A whiter shade of pale staan daardoor lager dan gebruikelijk in lijsten van de zestiger jaren.
The Beatles en The Rolling Stones staan niet bij de eerste drie, omdat de stemmen verdeeld worden over de vele goede nummers die ze hebben uitgebracht.
Opvallend de hoge noteringen voor Hush - Deep Purple, Summertime blues - Blue Cheer, Epitaph - King Crimson en de instrumentale nummers
Sabre dance - Love Sculpture en America van The Nice. 
Door de vele honderden buitenlandse inzendingen zijn de Nederlandse nummers niet tot de top doorgedrongen.
Ook de noteringen van Velvet Underground zijn verrassend, maar passen bij de nummer 1 notering van het album bij Oor.
Complimenten voor de keuzes! Alles bij elkaar een sensationeel mooie lijst!
